Disclaimer: I hate 3D.

Aiptek, German maker of ultra-cheap (but decent quality) pocket video cameras has announced a 3D version of their classic product. There is no question that if you are annoyed by horrible half-assed professional 3D in your local movie theater, the hand-held, poorly lit video produced by this amateur product will be many magnitudes more intolerable. Even so, for $199? It sounds fun, no? Low-priced 3D horror films. I can see it now: Blair Witch 3D! How awesome is that? If you think the 2D stick witch made people in the theater barf, imagine what 3D will do. I can see it now, "Would you like some more...PANCAKES?!!"
